From spectacular holiday parades and special fireworks displays to Christmas pageants and storytelling, your private guide from DISNEY VIP TOURS is ready to help you create a lifetime of beautiful memories.

Disney World at Christmas is a joyful celebration of all the best Christmas traditions from all over the world. Here are a few magical highlights you'll be sure to enjoy:

Christmas at Epcot Center

One of the best loved Christmas traditions at Epcot is the nightly Candlelight Processional. The Christmas story is retold gospel-style in this popular show, which has been part of Disney's Christmas celebrations for over 50 years. Performed three times each evening beginning the day after Thanksgiving and continuing through December 30, the Candlelight Processional also features a full orchestra and choir performing holiday music from traditional and contemporary repertoires.
Another Epcot tradition that shouldn't be missed is the Holiday Storytellers. These stories come from a wide range of cultures, and combine entertainment and education into a compelling mix that kids of all ages will enjoy.
The IllumiNations laser light and fireworks show -- always one of the park's most popular attractions -- gets dressed up for the holiday season with a special Christmas edition. This spectacular show pays tribute to the various cultures of the world while telling the story of humanity's history in an extravagant display of light and sound.
Epcot's World Showcase features Christmas traditions from around the world. The whole center is decked out in holiday decorations, and Santa Claus is ready to greet your family at the American Adventure. Of course, the Epcot resorts join in the Christmas spirit with their own fabulous decorations, and they're well worth a visit just to soak up even more of the festive atmosphere.

Christmas at Hollywood Studios

The Christmas season begins November 8 at Disney's Hollywood Studios, when the Osborne Family's Spectacle of Lights takes over the back lot. Comprised of more than five million lights -- that's more than ten miles of roped lighting -- this remarkable display features lights that dance to the rhythms of Christmas music. Folks swear that this spectacle can be seen from outer space, and you'll believe it when you see this breathtaking extravaganza of holiday joy.

Christmas at the Magic Kingdom

Beginning on November 8 and continuing on selected evenings through December 20, the Magic Kingdom will open only for guests who have purchased special tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. The party starts at 7 p.m. and continues until midnight on November 8, 11, 14, 15, 17, 21 and 22, and December 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19 and 20.
As a guest at the Very Merry Christmas Party, you'll see Cinderella's fairy godmother turn the castle into a confection of icy lights. On Main Street, USA, you'll cheer for the marching gingerbread men, elves, toy soldiers, and popular Disney characters who populate Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. And of course, Santa will make a special appearance as well -- along with a Christmas snowfall you and your family will never forget!
The Totally Tomorrowland Christmas features Buzz Lightyear and friends dancing to find Santa in this upbeat musical revue. And Mickey, Donald, and company create their own musical take on the Nutcracker in Mickey's Celebrate the Season Show.
Many of the park's most popular rides and attractions remain open for guests at this exclusive party. Complimentary cookies and hot chocolate make for a cozy holiday feeling that will warm you to your toes. Your evening of holiday fun ends with a most spectacular exclamation point -- Holiday Wishes, the Christmas version of the Magic Kingdom's wildly entertaining fireworks display.
Many of the special attractions at the Very Merry Christmas Party become available to the general public after December 20. If you would like to take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy the holiday extras without the extra price, please know that attendance at Disney reaches its peak during the week of Christmas.
